The best choice is to fly into Hong Kong International Airport.
Shenzhen is only a thirty (30) minute drive from the airport. You have several choices to get to your hotel in Shenzhen:
1. We recommend the door-to-door Airport Shuttle Bus from the airport directly to your hotel in Shenzhen. The cost is currently HK $180 (about US $23).
2. The MTR (train) from the airport to center city Shenzhen (HK $180), and then either taxi or the Shenzhen subway to your hotel.
3. The ferry from the airport to Shenzhen / Shekou, and then either taxi or bus to your hotel.
Most transportation companies at the HK International Airport operate between 7:00 am and 10:30 pm
Crossing the border: 24-hour bus service from Hong Kong to Shenzhen is available only at the Huanggang Check Point, a 10-minute drive from the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
Transportation in Shenzhen
Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is at the south end of the middle axis of the city’s downtown area. It is the landmark in CBD, just remotely symmetric with CAD, merely 1,000 meters away to the City Hall – the Citizen Center.
Convenient Transport
Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is on northern side of Binhe Express Way, which links to freeways and important ports. It is only 15 minutes’ drive from Shenzhen Railway Station, and 30 minute from the airport. Subway Line 1 and Line 4 is interchangeable at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center station, which is only 150 meters away through an underground passage. Subway takes you to Huanggang Port in 2 stops. In addition, it is also the stop of a dozen bus lines.
